お／ご～する／致す

「I do..」

We have learned when we are learning “Honorific Form”, there are several ways to change the other’s actions into “Honorific Form”. Let’s review it again.

・お／ご～になる：お買（か）いになる。
・お／ご～なさる：お買（か）いなさる。
・V（れる型）：買（か）われる。

The above three sentence patterns are all the ways of directly turning verbs into “Honorific form”. Then, how do we change our actions into “Humble form”?

Sentence Patterns

◉ お／ご＋Verbます form＋する／致す

◉ お／ご＋Noun＋する／致す

「致（いた）す」is the Humble form of 「する」，So the modesty level of「致（いた）す」is higher than 「する」.

Normal form	お／ご～する from	Meaning
１、この問題（もんだい）は私（わたし）が回答（かいとう）します。	この問題（もんだい）は私（わたし）がご回答（かいとう）致（いた）します。	I will answer the question.
