「as soon as~」

Meaning

◉ as soon as~

◉ It means that something has just been done and the opposite of what has just happened happened.

◉ The latter sentence usually follows a negative result.

◉ This sentence pattern is used for actions that “frequently repeat”, so it’s not necessary for things that only happen once.

Wrong example：

◉ 新（あたら）しいお皿（さら）を買（か）ったそばから割（わ）ってしまった。

（I just bought a new plate and it broke immediately.）
